What if I am allergic to a certain fruit or veggie?
Just let us know and we will make a note to put a substitution in your box instead.
What if I really do not like a certain fruit or veggie?
We will have a Sharing Table for our Weekly Fruit & Veggie Box members. If you want to trade an item in your box you can pick something else from the Sharing Table and leave the item you do not want on the table for another member. We will put some items on the table to get the Sharing started each pick up day. Any items that are left on the table by the end of the day on Saturday will be donated to a charity.
How is your produce grown?
Our homegrown produce is grown using methods that increase nutritional value through natural practices. We build soil nutrition and brix (sugar) levels to ensure high nutrition in our produce. We also use natural methods to deter insects and disease before we use conventional methods. Because we use methods that build soil nutrition and brix levels in our plants, our produce has exceptional flavor and lasts longer than conventionally grown produce. We do NOT grow any produce that is genetically modified. We do our best to provide our customers with the freshest, most flavorful produce we can. We plant a variety of different vegetables so you can try something new each week.
Do I have to sign up Online?
We do prefer you to sign up online, but if you would rather sign up with our sign up sheet and mail it to us that is ok too. Please Print this form, fill it out and mail it back to us with your payment. Our mailing address is 125 Basehoar School Rd, Littlestown, PA 17340.
What happens if I cannot pick up my Box on the date/time I selected on a particular week?
This is not a problem. We ask that you give us at least 24hrs notice if at all possible. We understand that last minute things come up so as long as you give us a call or email before the pick up time we can change your pick up day or time. If you know you are going to be away on a particular week let us know and you can arrange to pick up a double box the week before or week after. If you do not contact us and your box is not picked by the end of the day on Saturday we will donate your box to a charity.
